Founded in 2023, the Pharma Africa Organization (PAO) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting the well-being of all people through science-based health initiatives. In Tanzania, PAO officially began operations on 20th May 2023, under the NGOs Act No. 24 of 2002 as amended in 2005.
PAO works to expand universal health coverage by advancing health equity, strengthening public health systems and supporting vulnerable populations, through strong scientific contributions, advocacy and reliable drug information.
